Why so angry?

Some say conservative, some liberal, some a little bit of both, some have their own lives to worry about. I would say for most of my life I had considered myself someone who would rather spend my time listening to music than people drone on and on with talk radio. Heck most of the time all I heard was yelling and complaining about things I could plainly see were extreme exaggerations with a bias slant that just plain frustrated me. After a while I began to realize that these exaggerations and over the top rhetoric were driving the decision making!

From that point I researched everything that I heard. I could not believe the things these people were saying and, as it turns out, there is a very good reason for that. The topics were becoming increasingly extreme. At first I laughed at the absurdity, but then I would talk to others, they would actually be worried about the thing I knew was absurd!

So naturally, through all of the propaganda and smoke screens, I saw an opportunity to help people in my situation. Create a place where there can be an honest discussion and maybe after a political debate that cuts through the crap to get the gist of what happened instead of being fed what you "should" have heard. I, like you, have a busy REAL life, one that I feel should not be spent trying to pull fact out of all the political banter. I mean we elected these guys, we studied them, we made informed decisions, and then we expected to leave the politics to them. We elect these people so that we can continue to live our life as they protect ours. But lately things have just gotten out of hand and all of the people in the middle of the road need to be heard... or at least be prepared to be.
