9/11 Remembrance

Today, September 11th, 2011 is a somber day, the 10 year anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center towers. Many things have changed, some for better, some worse, but there can be no doubt that America still has the power to overcome. After the attacks 10 years ago and the power it had to unite, it is hard to believe that it is still difficult to work together and solve our current problems. We should use this day to remember the resilience of our country and celebrate all of the brave people who put aside their differences to come together to try to make the lives of others around them better. I will close this post with a moment of silence for all of the innocent people in the towers along with those in the fallen planes, the Fire Fighters and Police Officers that embodied what a hero truly is.
